By precisely controlling the water volume, flow velocity, and sluice box angle, the slurry flows through the sluice to form wave vortices. Through hydraulic action, light sand and sludge are continuously discharged, while heavy mineral materials\u2014including gold particles\u2014settle and adhere to the gold fleece (gold-catching grass) inside the sluice box. After several hours of operation, the gold fleece is removed and cleaned of heavy minerals, enabling the recovery of gold-bearing heavy mineral concentrates.
